Acknowledging potential controversies, he added, “I’m not sure how people will perceive this White House card, or who exactly will be watching, given the political context. However, for me, it’s an incredible chance to be seen by millions who might otherwise never watch an MMA fight. I just pleaded to be included.”

Despite the late confirmation, UFC matchmakers ultimately approved O’Malley’s fervent request to compete at this monumental event. He is now fully focused on his training and preparation.

Expressing his satisfaction, he noted, “I’m happy and excited. With 14 weeks to prepare, there’s ample time. The fight is likely on Sunday, June 14th – coincidentally, on Trump’s birthday.”

O’Malley underscored the significance of the event, calling it “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” He also praised his opponent, Aiemann Zahabi: “Aiemann is a fantastic matchup.
