Mattia Binotto, Head of Project: ‘Entering the third round in Suzuka, our emphasis is strongly on flawless execution. As all teams, including ours, gain a better grasp of these new cars, the room for mistakes narrows considerably. We’ve observed promising pace in the initial two races, yet we acknowledge areas for improvement in both performance and operational precision. We’ve proactively tackled previous reliability concerns, aiming to ensure their prevention and that both cars complete their races uninterrupted. Our progression continues; the objective now is to keep developing, learning, and seizing every potential opening.’

Missing the Shanghai race was certainly a letdown, but I’m confident the team has diligently worked to prevent any recurrence of that issue. We’ve utilized our time at the factory to refine our efforts and try to extract even more performance from the car before this weekend. The events in Australia and China confirmed we have a solid foundation, and now the goal is to build upon that and capitalize on every opportunity throughout the weekend.’
