Details as Milan seal rapid move for PSG’s Goncalo Ramos

Serie A side Milan made some progress in a move for PSG’s Goncalo Ramos yesterday but they have now sealed the deal in a rather decisive fashion.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Portuguese will be the most expensive signing in Rossoneri history. An agreement has been reached, and the 25-year-old Portuguese will be the Rossoneri’s new center forward. The figure is significant. In fact, very significant because—including bonuses—it’s between €60 and €70 million.

The striker, who is with the Portuguese national team, has already undergone a Milan medical.

It was already clear yesterday that the Rossoneri wanted to move quickly. The threat of Atlético Madrid was in the background, and in any case, Milan needed to start sending a concrete signal in a market that had been forced to stagnate until now.

The foundations for a white smoke were all there. There was an offer from Via Aldo Rossi and the mutual approval of Ruben Amorim and player, who is happy to be able to work with his compatriot.

Jorge Mendes key

The Rossoneri have been very close to Jorge Mendes and he was an intermediary in a move for Amorim. He has played a big role in this, as he formally represents the striker and also works closely with PSG.
