Atalanta pushing for Bosnia and Leverkusen’s Kerim Alajbegovic

Serie A side Atalanta are set to earn a significant amount from the sale of Marco Palestra and they are now prepared to push for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kerim Alajbegovic.

The Bosnian, who is playing at the World Cup, is returning to the Bundesliga side after a spell at Salzburg. But Leverkusen are selling him on.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Atalanta move for the teenager comes as a surprise.

La Dea have initiated contact with his entourage and father, who is also handling the winger’s situation. Their intention is to beat competition as quickly as possible and seal the deal. Roma are also in the race and have made contact but they haven’t progressed beyond that.

Wise call from player

Atalanta have been known to be a very good club for younger players that want to take the next step. They’re also keen sellers, if suitors offer the right amount.

As they undergo a transition in a new sporting vision, Alajbegovic should definitely consider the move, which could help his career quite a bit.
